USA, New York 2020

A 21-member delegation from Georgian-American High and Georgian-American Schools paid a visit to New York on February 27-March 5, 2020. They participated in an international conference held at the UN headquarters. Participants had the opportunity to take part in interesting debates, discuss current events of the world and find ways to solve current problems.

Along with the busy academic part, the students had quite an interesting cultural program. Students visited the following New York City landmarks: Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Times Square on Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, American Museum of Natural History, Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

This event is held annually in New York and it has already been included in the annual plan of our schools.
